Pan Trinbago Inc, has shut down general operations due to the global health emergency COVID-19.
The move comes on the advice of the Office of The Prime Minister, the Ministry of Health, the Pan-American Health Organisation (PAHO), and the World Health Organisation (WHO) as well as other state agencies.
In a media statement, officials of the steelband body say in the light of COVID-19, Pan Trinbago T.C. will close its offices from March 16 to March 22, inclusive in the first instance.

The statement went on to say that Pan Trinbago Inc. adheres to all guidelines from government authorities of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago and leading health organisations related to the containment of the virus.
The health and welfare of “our employees and members are paramount” the statement continued and says everyone has a responsibility to prevent the spread of this virus.
