With the tag line, ”Let’s Do What We Can As A Nation to Help Those in Need”,  the Pan Do-Nation Drive will be launched on Friday May  29, 2020 via Facebook and You Tube at 6:00 pm.

Interested persons can access details on the initiative on Pan Trinbago website and social media: Facebook and Twitter and email by contributing to the RBC checking account Pan Trinbago Youth Arm #100088110267837, or via the “Pan Do-Nation Drive” campaign on FundMeTnT at fundmetnt.com.

Non-perishable food items will also be accepted.

Pan Trinbago Social Prosperity Fund is established to provide tangible support and empowerment programmes to vulnerable families, supporters, players and workers of the steelpan community that are experiencing hardship.

Pan Trinbago president Beverley Ramsey-Moore, said “It is important to act now and provide tangible practical support during these unsetting times”.

This is a unique, collaborative concept to improve the lives of the steelpan community which spans three hundred (300) steelbands, four thousand (4000) players and their families, tuners, arrangers, manufacturers  and administrators during this pandemic which has dimmed the light on “live” entertainment, halted panyard activities and performances decreasing revenue streams.

The Pan Trinbago Social Prosperity Fund Committee comprises chairman Lauren Pierre (Interim Trustee) six other members and an advisor. The President or designate shall be an ex-officio member.
